During the semester, EDUCO staff closely monitors students’ academic progress. On-going and personalized support is available throughout the semester.
EDUCO faculty and tutors help students adjust to an academic system that is very different from the American system and have designed a series of workshops that develop pedagogical strategies.
Students learn how to write “the French way”, how to conduct research efficiently, how to prepare oral presentations and exams.
EDUCO and French universities want to ensure that students with special needs or specific disabilities are given the same opportunities as all other students, whether it be in the classroom, to access libraries or during exams. Immediately upon arrival, students with special needs must be in touch with the EDUCO administration in order to devise a specific plan of action. The French university will require proper medical documentation from the home institution and students will need to provide a certificate from a French doctor as well.
